The Judge Group Attends 73rd Annual Maxwell Football Club Awards

March 11, 2010 (Philadelphia, PA) – Martin E. Judge, Jr., CEO of The Judge Group, and members of the firm’s corporate management team came out in support of the 73rd Annual Maxwell Football Club Awards on March 5, at Harrah's Resort in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

The Maxwell Football Club (www.maxwellfootballclub.org) is an organization involved not only in football but in the community. Its mission is dedicated to the concept that young people are the potential of this nation and it is important to help them meet and realize their potential.

Marty Judge, Jr. has been a member of The Maxwell Football Club of Pennsylvania’s board of governors since 1996. He encourages and supports the organization’s mission of helping the younger generation. “I am honored to participate in such a great organization and such a unique event,” stated Judge.

The evening was filled with notable honorees and award recipients. New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees was presented with the Bert Bell Professional Player of the Year Award. University of Texas quarterback Colt McCoy won the Maxwell Award (Collegiate Player of the Year) and Nebraska defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh received the Chuck Bednarik Award (Collegiate Defensive Player of the Year).

Other notable award-winners were: New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton received the "Greasy" Neale Award (Professional Coach of the Year); Temple University head coach Al Golden received the Tri-State Coach Award; Villanova University wide receiver Matt Szczur received the Tri-State Player Award; Villanova head coach Andy Talley received the President's Award; and ABC broadcaster Brent Musburger received the Harrah's Broadcaster of the Year Award. Presenters for the evening included former Philadelphia Eagles head coach Dick Vermeil, former Tampa Bay and Oakland head coach and current ESPN analyst Jon Gruden, ESPN analysts Sal Paolantonio and Suzy Kolber, and former Philadelphia Eagle Vince Papale. Maxwell president and former Eagles quarterback Ron Jaworski was also in attendance.
