The Judge Group Sponsors 74th Annual Maxwell Football Club Awards
April 1, 2011 (Philadelphia) – Martin E. Judge, Jr., CEO and Founder of The Judge Group, and members of the firm’s corporate management team came out in support of the 74th Annual Maxwell Football Club Awards, on March 4, at Harrah's Resort in Atlantic City, N.J.
The Maxwell Football Club (www.maxwellfootballclub.org) is an organization dedicated to the concept that young people are the future of this nation and it is important to help them meet and realize their potential. The Annual Awards Gala honors exceptional athletes, coaches, and sports professionals and enthusiasts at all levels of football, not only in on-field performance but also in academics and community service, according to Maxwell Football Club Executive Director Mark Wolpert.
Mr. Judge has been a member of the Maxwell Football Club’s board of governors since 1996 and was elected to the executive board of directors in 2010. He encourages and supports the organization’s mission of helping the younger generation.
This year, Mr. Judge took his involvement a step further and sponsored the event.
“I am honored to participate in such a great organization,” stated Judge. “I’ve been involved with the Maxwell Football Club for years, so it made sense to me to take that next step and become a sponsor. It was an absolute pleasure being able to help create a truly memorable evening for everyone who attended.”
Wolpert expressed his appreciation for The Judge Group’s involvement, adding that it “had a direct impact on our ability to provide winners and guests with a fantastic evening.”
This was also the first year that Lou Tilley Media Enterprises, a division of The Judge Group, produced all aspects of the awards, from creating the awards videos to handling sales and sponsorships. Tilley, a veteran award-winning anchor and producer, also emceed the event.
“I was a Maxwell Award winner in high school, and football has shaped my career,” said Tilley. “So it’s thrilling that my first contract with my own company is with the Maxwell Football Club and Marty (Judge).”

University of Auburn quarterback Cam Newton won the Maxwell Award (Collegiate Player of the Year) and Louisiana State University defensive back Patrick Peterson received the Chuck Bednarik Award (Collegiate Defensive Player of the Year).
