Bringing Crisis Alert Technology to 268 Schools with Enterprise Learning Solutions

Executive Summary

A company that provides technological safety solutions via a crisis alert system previously handled new client training internally. But as the demand for their technology increased, so did the company’s need for a partner to help manage and deploy a temporary workforce to meet demand.

The Challenge: Providing training to meet overwhelming demand

Due to the growth and demand for their solutions, the company was not able to support the amount of client training needed in-house. The company required additional support resources to train and educate multiple school districts on the alert system before the start of the 2022 school year. Successful training implementation is critical to user confidence, full technology adoption, and the safety of children and staff.

The Solution: Specialized enterprise learning solutions

The company partnered with Judge Learning Solutions (JLS), a division of The Judge Group, to roll out training to two school districts – one in Kansas and one in Florida – via enterprise learning solutions. To achieve full technology adoption, JLS created a learning and development (L&D) candidate profile that included a background in K-12 education and adult facilitation, comfort with technology, and proximity to the schools.

Once the trainers were chosen, they first participated in a virtual train-the-trainer course, then shadowed the company’s internal trainers before conducting training on their own. 10+ trainers were deployed across the two school districts for six weeks and hosted three sessions per day. With the company’s support, JLS managed the trainers over their six-week deployment, which entailed providing technology training, travel and logistics management, schedule support, laptop distribution, and issue escalation.

The Result: Training for staff across 268 schools

Administrators, teachers, and emergency responders at 268 schools received training over the course of the project. By partnering with JLS, the company was able to scale quickly and implement its technology in two school districts within a matter of weeks. The company’s partnership with Judge Learning Solutions continues to bring crisis alert training to school districts across the U.S.
