Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion
Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion
As a family business, Judge is committed to doing what is right. As such, Judge is committed to improving the racial and gender make-up of our workforce and leadership team.
Diversity is everything that makes us who we are, and all the ways we are different from everyone else. Diversity sparks creative insights, better solutions, and ultimately, greater efficiencies.
Equity is the fair treatment, access, opportunity, and advancement for all people, while at the same time striving to identify and eliminate barriers that have prevented the full participation of some groups. Improving equity involves increasing justice and fairness within the procedures and processes of institutions or systems, as well as in their distribution of resources. Tackling equity issues requires an understanding of the root causes of outcome disparities.
Inclusion is creating an environment where all differences can be leveraged to help achieve our mission. Inclusion is using our differences to make a difference. Creating a workplace environment that taps into the unique talents and strengths of different employees leads to greater employee satisfaction, higher productivity, and a healthier company.
All together, diversity, equity, and inclusion are strategic business imperatives that are part of who we are as an organization and how we do business, allowing us to leverage the diversity of our colleagues to achieve success. The kind of change necessary to create a truly diverse and inclusive workplace involves shifting the way we think and act. Continuing to learn and be open enables us to be our best company but also provide clients and candidates with a world class experience.
The Judge Group Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) Council is a group of employees, that acts on behalf of the company to jumpstart and manage the diversity and inclusion process. Additionally, The Judge Group has created three employee resource groups (ERGs) to provide an environment for individuals to discuss and work to resolve the challenges and opportunities each group faces and help inform the organization how to help create an atmosphere at Judge where all employees are positioned for success. The Judge ERGs include People of Color, Women, and LGBTQIA+. The Council, with the input of each ERG, works closely with senior leaders to ensure tight alignment with the organization’s overall business strategy and to help institutionalize practices that support and accelerate DE&I goals.
Through these efforts we hope to:
- Increase workforce diversity.
- Create a more inclusive environment.
- Ensure equal opportunity.
- Strengthen our supplier diversity program.
Our best-in-class program supports our clients’ commitments to diversity and disadvantaged business partners with 350+ vendors including Minority, Woman-Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises.
